Loving Jesus – A 30 Day Devotional

Loving Jesus A 30 Day DevotionalI am excited to say that my first book Loving Jesus- A 30 Day Devotional is now available on Amazon.com. I have been working on this book for about a year now and it combines scripture with original inspirational poetry that I have written over the last 20 years or so, along with a devotional writing and a prayer. The inspirational poetry, devotions, and prayers draw from my own walk of faith and all that God has taught me over the years.

Everyone has moments of great faith and moments when it is all they can do to hold on.

My hope is that Loving Jesus will encourage you, strengthen you, uplift you and challenge you while bringing you closer to God each day.

Here is a sample from Loving Jesus – A 30 Day Devotional:

“But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” Psalm 33:18-22, NIV

Source of Hope
You give me hope
Through Your Word,
Many promises that
I can hold on to
No matter how
Dark things may seem.
I know that I can trust in you.
Your Holy Spirit
Brings me peace.
Guides me in prayer.
Leads me.
Gives me power over the darkness.
Salvation comes through
Jesus Christ.
Wisdom through Your Word.
You give me hope
Where there is no hope.
You make the impossible
You are my strength
When I am at my weakest.
I sing Your praises
When I want to cry or give up.
And You strengthen me and
Bring me your peace once again.
Forever You Are “I Am”.
Forever I am Yours’ Lord,
Your humble servant.
I rejoice in You Lord,
My Savior, My God,
My fortress, My Shield,
My Provider, My Father,
Daddy God.

There is only one source of hope in this world and that is Jesus Christ. He is the Living Word become flesh. Died for our sins and conquered death once and for all. He sent us the Great Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to help us in this life. He gives us everything we need in this life if we ask. He is right there waiting for each one of us to seek him. Without God, there would be no world. We would not exist. If he removed his presence from this world, there would be no light at all, only darkness. When we are weak, he is strong. He makes the impossible possible. He brings us peace in the midst of chaos. When I can’t go one more step, he carries me. It doesn’t matter how good or bad things might seem to me, even when I can’t see a way out of whatever circumstance I am facing, he makes a way. He looks after his children. He is worthy of all hope and trust and love because he is love. He fulfills every promise. Worship him with all your heart and all your mind and let him be your hope today.

Father God, we thank you for hope through salvation and through your Word. You are our all in all and give us hope when there would otherwise be no hope. Help us to look to you in every situation and trust that you have a plan no matter what things may look like. You are worthy, Lord, of all hope, trust, and praise. In Jesus name. Amen.
